Minimum waste - maximum taste vol.3: Restlos Gluecklich
Čas a místo
"Cooking from waste without waste" is the topic of the upcoming event from the Minimum waste - maximum taste series. The chefs are coming all the way from Berlin's Restlos Gluecklich.
Restlos Gluecklich is an NGO and a former zero-waste bistro. They decided to fight against food waste and their goal is simple: to make people value their food more. They organize cooking-with-waste lessons, theme dinners and educative projects. The best thing? They only cook with ingredients that supermarkets would throw away (ugly carrots or slightly dented potatoes, food in short that is not easily sold and would end up as food waste). They get it every morning from one German retail chain.
Here in Prague, they will get the ingredients from Košík.cz. They will cook a three course waste-free menu and share their tips to avoid food waste.
This event is organized with the help of City of Prague.
